Waverley Borough Council is preparing its plan to guide
where new homes and other forms of development should go. They are required by
the South East Plan to provide for at least 5,000 new homes in Waverley in the period
from 2006 to 2026. 


The Council has stated that they would like the help of
the residents in meeting the challenge of deciding where these new homes should
go.

Appeal dismissed, Planning Permission refused


25th September. The Department of Communities and Local Government
today announced that the Secretary of State agrees with the conclusion
of the Planning Inspector and that Dunsfold Park's appeal is dismissed
and planning permission refused. 
Dunsfold Park have six weeks to decide whether to challenge this decision by applying to the High Court.

4th November 2008 - Dunsfold Park Ltd has today announced its intention to
appeal against Waverley Borough Council&amp;rsquo;s decision to refuse their masterplan
application for the aerodrome in Dunsfold, nr Guildford, Surrey.

 An ill considered and irresponsible decision  was the verdict of Barry Myers, the SDPNT chairman.
