In the masterplan unveiled in 2006 the developer, Dunsfold Park Ltd, proposes a new town of 2,600 homes. That is more homes than are in Alfold, Chiddingfold, Dunsfold and Hascombe combined and twice the number of homes in Bramley! Dunsfold Park New Town would be one of the largest residential construction projects Surrey has ever seen. "Who stands to benefit? The shareholders of Dunsfold Park Ltd? Or the less well off/under employed local people who cannot afford the high prices of housing in the area?

Who stands to lose? Almost all who currently live in the area will be affected by degradation of the environment. The road system is already heavily congested.
