Environmental Impact Assessment - draft Scoping Report PDF Print E-mail

Dunsfold Park Limited has submitted to Waverley Borough Council a draft Scoping Report dated 12 June 2006.
 

MAIN OBJECTIVES OF THE SCOPING REPORT:

  • To identify all aspects of the scheme of potential environmental significance and to highlight the key issues.
  • To establish the availability of baseline environmental data.
  • To define a survey and assessment framework from which a comprehensive overall assessment can be produced.
  • To invite statutory and non-statutory consultees to comment on the proposed methodology and to provide and receive information relevant to the scheme.
  • To obtain a formal scoping opinion."

"This proposal for a new town is unlikely to provide anything for the area other than an opportunity for more buy-to-let properties for investors and/or social housing that is out of the reach of young people simply requiring an affordable home, key worker or not. I endorse fully all of your arguments and do not wish to see more of our beautiful county disappear. We are over-crowded as it is."
